An Evening in Sai Kung
Sunday evening we realized that we haven't been exploring much these days so late in the afternoon we decided to head to a nearby fishing village called Sai Kung. It's at the base of the mountain that I paraglide on and about 15 minutes away by bus.
There is a large expat community there so lot's of nice foreign restaurants.


One big attraction there is the fish market where fishermen (and women) sell their catch right from the boat. It was an interesting transaction. The fishers would use a long net to raise their catch and the customers would inspect it then put the money in the net and take the fish. You can see it in the picture below:



On the waterfront there are lot's of Chinese seafood restaurants. These are the kind where you can pick your food from the aquariums in front and they make it fresh. Jill and I are still not that sure about the cleanliness of the food, so we opted for pizza and chicken fajitas.
