Every year, there is a singing competition that our kindergarten students enter. Only the older students participate, so my two classes went on Saturday to sing Old MacDonald's Farm. We only practiced for about 2 weeks and depending on the day and their mood, they either did terribly or OK. We were lucky that Saturday was one of their better days where most of them were paying attention and singing.
I was on stage in front to "conduct" them so they didn't forget when to sing. I think they could have done it by themselves.........or completely forget everything.

It was actually kind of fun and I think all of the children had a good time and the parents were proud of their performance.
